Yes! (fist pump in the air) School is canceled! This means Jake and I get to hang out in the warm house all day! We have only a few inches of snow but more is coming later so this means we might have another day off tomorrow!
Last time I had a snow day Bailey ate something and was throwing up all day. 24 hours later she was having emergency surgery that cost us $4500 when all was said and done. Hopefully today will just be movies, snuggles, books, naps, and a nice warm fire.
J is all set up for his next MRI. We will be going to Children's on December 15th at 6:30 am. They have to put him under sedation (not to be mistaken by saying "put down" which I tend to say by accident) so it'll be about 4 hours long. They will compare these results to his results from his December 09 MRI to see any changes. Keeping our fingers crossed that all looks good.
He is having another sleep study at Children's soon to see if he can be off of O2 at night. Going to Children's is awful and he doesn't sleep well at all. He is hooked up to SO many machines and he has never done well there. Hopefully it will go well and we can give the O2 tanks the final goodbye forever! Just to give you an idea I have posted a picture from one of his last 4 sleep studies. It might have been his first one. :( He has a hat on to keep all of the electrodes on his head in place. Yuck!
