J is so darn happy! At this point the littlest things make him smile and laugh so much! The one thing that makes him more happy than anything is when Bailey chases her tail! It is so funny. The two of them are such good buddies. Luckily soon enough our little guy will be able to play with Bailey with her toys. That will be such a great day...they can chase each other around. He is standing so well on almost every surface. He stands on concrete, grass, our legs-anywhere! It is finally getting warm enough so that we can go outside and to the park more often. His next OT therapy is at the park so I can learn some good stuff to do with him for his sensory issues. He is now staying in a "crawl" position with blown up air floaties around his elbows for more support. It is awesome seeing him hold himself up. He isn't too happy about it but the more practice he has the easier it will be for him.
He is loving smores goldfish cookies, yogurt, string cheese, blueberries, and the usuals. We still try to give him as much new stuff as we can. He is using a sippy cup whenever we give it to him and drinking water out of it too. He is slowly learning to tip the cup up while he is sitting. Lastly, he is Mr. Chatty too. Tonight he said "ga ga ga ga ga ga goo" WOW! I was shocked! Finally we are hearing even more sounds-that means that soon enough we REALLY need to watch what we say! We want more mama dada instead of --BLEEP--! :)
