We went to the zoo with our friends Ellie, Ethan, Marlow, and Myles. We had such a great time and can't wait to repeat many times this summer. They are such a blast and their mommies are pretty wonderful too. Avery is obsessed with Ellie now. We got some adorable clothes from Ellie and Avery says, "Ellie (shoes, shirt, pants, etc.) I happy."
We went to the Platte bar with Aunt Han, Sean, and Andy on a gorgeous day and apparently found the best spot for Jake-right by the motorcycles. He was so fascinated!
Even Avery girl loved watching the bikers come and go.
Uncle Mike, Aunt KJ, Nanni, and Evan came over to visit and Aunt KJ and Evan took the kids (and Bailey!) for a walk in the rain. They are a handful to go a walk with and all 4 of our kids came back and Aunt KJ and Evan came back too! :)
Avery was loving Nanni the great. Nanni has always been such a natural with any little but it is so much fun to see our kids buy in to her wonderful, loving, silly personality. We LOVE Nanni and we are so happy we got to spend time with her.
Brooklynn is the hardest to win over for anyone but she was willing to stop for a second for a picture.
Bobby and I went to VEGAS for our 10 year wedding anniversary a couple of weeks ago. We went for a few days and lived it up kid-free. The kids were in wonderful hands so we were truly worry-free. Jake had field day while we were gone and I have a few pictures from his teacher and probably one hundred from my mom. We went to the pool, went out for beautiful dinners, shopped, slept-in, napped, went and did everything and more that we wanted to do. It was the most wonderful way to celebrate 10 years with my guy. I can't believe an entire decade has gone by...time has flown so fast but when we look at what we have gone through in the last 10 years we know that we are ready for whatever the next 10 might throw at us. We are lucky and blessed to have each other. Ups and downs, highs and lows, this is forever.
May 23rd, 2014. Our baby boy isn't such a baby faced boy-he's become a little boy right before our eyes.
Jake "helped" me one weekend to start moving stuff out of my classroom. This is such a strange feeling-moving from my comfort zone to the next chapter in my professional career. I cannot wait to have a 10 minute commute next year! Yahoo!

Little miss artist! She wore this backpack she got from Nana around all weekend long. She literally refused to take the backpack off for any reason. We bought them an Aquadoodle for their birthday and gave them a paintbrush=hours of entertainment!
Cute little pumpkins were given this adorable table to love and use! Thank you Cheryl!! They already LOVE it! You're so kind and we appreciate it!
