Well, J actually slept from 8:00-5:45 straight! He was off O2 until 4:00 am (and the tech said he put him on O2 because he wanted to show his stats on O2 but also because he was dipping down kind of low). My hopes are not really high but at least he went without O2 for longer than he has ever gone during a sleep study before. He is making incredible progress, that's for sure.
This week was filled with some kind of stomach bug where he threw up many times on Wednesday night. He throws up a lot because his gag reflex is close to the front of his mouth but he was so tired and scared when it kept happening over and over. Poor kid. We took him in to the Dr. and it looked like he might have strep-but the rapid screen came back negative. He is much better now and back to being Mr. Smiley! They started him on a new reflux medication so that might make his spitting up and throwing up episodes better (as well as the constant hiccups too).
It is so fun to have people come and hang out with him because he has changed so much from just a month ago. I am off track until December 1st so I am looking forward to spending lots of time with him. We are going to go swimming inside, to the museum, and out to lunch with daddy at work. We have so much planned it is hard to be patient!
